Here the disabled are in focus
For more than 150 years the Diakonie Neuendettelsau has championed the cause for the mentally disabled. Even in 1854 as the Motherhood House was founded, disabled moved in at the same time as the Lutheran sisters. Care of the disabled was therefore then as it will be in future a central part of our work according to our diaconal mission.
At the present time far more than 1,800 disabled use our varied accommodation on offer together with the numerous job opportunities in the workshops for disabled in Swabia, Middle and Upper Franconia. In addition to that we have extended our day care provision in the past years. Our provision is linked with the support and training opportunities in the Schools for Special Needs of the Diakonie Neuendettelsau.
Everyone finds what he needs here: worthwhile life support, day in day out.
